It is getting to be that time of year to start formulating next year’s budget. As always, there are many competing projects for the limited dollars available. However, there is one topic in particular that is gaining significant interest as a result of the pandemic and that is, enhancing the outdoor gathering areas. Family and friends are so eager to visit residents after the very long hiatus. Subsequently, they are cherishing those visits that much more and no longer taking them for granted.
While we cautiously navigate through these uncertain times, the safety and well-being of all is the utmost important consideration. It is universally agreed upon that outdoor visits are safer than indoor visits. As a result of this renewed interest in the outdoor space and to help provide sound guidance, Pioneer Network, in conjunction with Dr. Margaret Caulkins of the IDEAS Institute, authored a comprehensive booklet titled “Designing Gardens to Attract Activity.”
As a Pioneer Network corporate sponsor, WhisperGLIDE is honored to have provided the financial support to make this educational booklet a reality. Feel free to download the PDF version or to request a printed copy, simply email Matt@whisperglide.com.
